Rihanna's new music video is here – and we "needed" it.
The 28-year-old singer debuted the music video for "Needed Me" off of her ANTI album, and the three-minute-14-second spot chronicles the ultimate revenge tale – with Rihanna as a no-nonsense woman scorned.
The video is quintessential Rih, featuring an envelope-pushing wardrobe, a luxurious location (a beach-front home with glass walls) and a few gritty scenes.
In the NSFW video, the "Work" singer sets off on a motorcycle to a local strip club with a gun in hand. Once there, she walks through the building and approaches her tattoo-clad victim, firing two shots.
In the hours leading up to the video's release, Rihanna uploaded a slew of photos and video clips from the music video to her Instagram account to announce the event.
"Just because it's 420 #NEEDEDME #NOON #VEVO," she captioned a black and white shot of her smoking.
Another photo showed the singer holding a gun, while other pics reveal Rihanna in a see-through cover up with her chest fully visible.
