The 27-year-old singer has faced a slew of setbacks in recent weeks, starting with her leaked eighth studio album Anti.
And with her turn at the Grammys scrapped last minute due to health problems, fans hope the Barbadian singer is fully recovered in time for her slated performance at the 2016 BRIT Awards on Wednesday.
Here's a recap of Rihanna's past few weeks.
1. Anti's Delayed, Then Fast-Tracked Release
It's her first studio album in four years. The same day Rihanna released the official single "Work" (featuring Drake), the highly-anticipated Anti was allegedly uploaded in full to streaming service Tidal before quickly being taken down, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The star seems to have powered through the snafu though, not giving it so much as a mention on social media. Within weeks, the album went platinum, the singer announced on Twitter.
2. Last-Minute Grammy Awards Cancellation
Rihanna was slated to perform "Kiss It Better" in an '80s themed performance with James Corden at last weeks 2016 Grammy Awards. But less than an hour before the show, the singer canceled, with a rep citing health concerns.
"Based on Rihanna's examination, after Grammy rehearsal today, Rihanna's doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal cords," a rep for the singer previously told PEOPLE.
The "Diamonds" singer took to Twitter, apologizing to fans for her absence at the show.

3. Delayed Tour
Earlier this week, Rihanna postponed the start of her Anti world tour by two weeks due to production problems.
She also rescheduled eight dates in May, including shows in New Orleans, Austin, Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, San Diego, Dallas, San Jose and Oakland.
Rihanna was expected to kick off the 40-date tour on Feb. 26 in San Diego. Now, it will begin on March 12 in Jacksonville, Florida.
4. Canceled Concert Dates in the U.K.
As if a postponed tour wasn't disappointing enough, the singer subsequently canceled two tour dates in the U.K., the BBC reports.
Officials at Sunderland's Stadium of Light in Sunderland, England, announced that Rihanna's June tour date at the location has been canceled, citing "logistical reasons beyond the tour's control."
Cardiff's Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, also fell victim to the onslaught of canceled shows.
With the BRIT Awards days away, we'll just have to wait and see.
In the meantime, Rihanna released a sneak peek of her music video for "Work" with Drake on Friday. The fun music video shows the singer, Drake and a slew of party-goers dancing the night away to the hit track.
