Ronda Rousey, who won her three most recent fights in a little more than a minute combined, lost her Ultimate Fighting Championship women's bantamweight belt on Sunday in an upset by Holly Holm, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The five-minute fight was a reversal of much of Rousey's earlier successes, according to the Times. It ended with Rousey briefly unconscious after a kick to the head, as Holm pummeled her.

The fight was called 59 seconds into the second round, according to the Times. As a precaution, Rousey was transported to a local hospital.

"I just felt like, 'How could I not do this?' I had the best coaching from wrestling to grappling to stand-up," Holm said afterward, according to the Times. "Everything we worked on presented itself in the fight."

With Rousey's string of 12 victories broken, other fighters, including former opponents, took to social media to comment.

Even Bethe Correia, who Rousey KO'd in August in 34 seconds, had a comment: "The world turns!"
