While the path of our memories is beset on all sides by the inequities of Jameson and old age, Samuel L. Jackson – in the name of charity and good will – apparently has a great memory. The next Avengers movie will be the actor's 117th film project, and yet he can still remember one particular speech from a movie he made twenty years ago.

It helps that it's one of the most iconic cinematic moments of all time: The "Ezekiel 25:17 speech" from Pulp Fiction.

Jackson was a guest on The Graham Norton Show Friday, and with a little prompting, the actor recited his terrifying speech from Pulp Fiction pretty flawlessly. Keira Knightley, sitting next to him, described the moment as "smooth," which, while not being the first word we'd use to describe the intimidating off-the-cuff performance, certainly comes close.

Below: Jackson's original speech from the film, for comparison.
