According to police sources, Dwight Boone-Doty, 22, has been identified as Tyshawn's alleged "executioner" who fired the fatal bullet. He was charged Monday night with first-degree murder.
Boone-Doty has also been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder for his alleged involvement in a shooting that occurred last October, a police source confirms.

The slain boy was shot multiple times at close range, not far from his grandmother's house, according to investigators.
In a statement, Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said that Boone-Doty's "reprehensible acts define barbarism and cowardice." Guglielmi also claimed the defendant would "face justice for killing Tyshawn."
It wasn't immediately clear if Boone-Doty had an attorney but he remains in custody without bail.
Not long after the shooting, police arrested 27-year-old Corey Morgan on murder charges. Morgan has not yet entered a plea to the charges against him.
