In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the reality star asks the court to deny spousal support to his estranged wife. Aside from that request, Shouhed, 37, is not opposing anything else in her divorce filing, and asks that the court grant a divorce for irreconcilable differences, "determine rights to community property," and confirm ownership over separate property.
The former couple had no children.
Parido filed for divorce in November, just eight months after the pair married in March 2015. The split surprised Shouhed, who previously told PEOPLE he had no idea a divorce was on the table until multiple media outlets broke the news.
"I didn't even know the divorce was happening until I saw it posted online," he exclusively told PEOPLE last year. "That was how I found out she was divorcing me. I was blindsided."
Parido filed for divorce after an old message on Shouhed's iCloud showed he had been unfaithful to her in the past. However, Shouhed said that despite his wife leaving the next day, she told him she would give him a second chance if he went to therapy to "deal with his demons."
"I was working on myself, and I am a completely different person today than I was three months ago," he added.
Ultimately, she moved forward with the divorce proceedings and is currently dating Karlen "Chris" Shubaralyan, who on Friday was charged with domestic violence for alleged incidents against his ex wife.
