Brave Floridians Wade into Surf to Rescue Shark (VIDEO)

It's not every day you see people wade into the Atlantic Ocean to save the life of an animal that would otherwise be very pleased to consume them. The ocean, after all, is the shark's house.

But one pair of brothers in Destin, Florida, decided to transcend boundaries like species by coming to the rescue of a 10-ft. hammerhead shark stranded in a fishing line off the shoreline. The pair removed the hooks in the animal's mouth and unwrapped the steel fishing line around its head before dragging it back into deep enough waters for it to swim off.

Frankly, these men are heroes for putting the welfare of a large seagoing predator above their own, and we salute them.
