On Tuesday's episode of the ABC talk show, Osbourne, 30, derided presidential hopeful Donald Trump's stance on immigration
"If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" she asked.
Shepherd Tweeted about the gaffe, writing, "latinos can only clean toilets… what are blacks good for? breastfeeding dem babies! Girl what did you just say!"
Osbourne later apologized on Facebook, and Shepherd, 48, admitted it's easy to misspeak on TV.
"cutting @Kelly Osbourne a little slack, bc I've done it myself … sometimes isht comes out of your mouth live that you didn't mean to say," she Tweeted.
Later, Shepherd compared Osbourne's blunder to Giuliana Rancic's joke about Zendaya's dreadlocks at the Oscars. (Osbourne quit Fashion Police in protest.)
