Sinead O'Connor Responds to Arsenio Hall's Libel Lawsuit: 'I'm More Amused Than I've Ever Dreamed a Person Could Be'

Sinead O'Connor isn't fazed by Arsenio Hall's libel lawsuit against her in the least.

"I'm more amused than I've ever dreamed a person could be and look forward very much to how hilarious it will be watching him trying to prove me wrong. I'm also very happy to notice that the DEA have taken me seriously enough to be thoroughly questioning all of Prince's friends and aides from the last thirty years as to his history of hard drug use and where he obtained his drugs. I do not like drugs killing musicians. And I do not like Arsenio Hall," she writes in an email to Entertainment Weekly and PEOPLE, later posted to her Facebook page.

She added via email, "If I may offer a final thought... I find it hard to believe that a man who had a vault (for his unreleased material) didn't have a will."

The comedian filed the suit Thursday after O'Connor claimed on her Facebook page earlier this week Hall was Prince's drug dealer.

Seeking "not less than $5 million" in damages, Hall called O'Connor "desperate" and an "attention-seeker."

"The statement regarding Arsenio Hall is absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd," his rep Traci Harper said.

Prince died April 21 and reportedly had the opioid painkiller Percocet in his system when he was found unresponsive at his Paisley Park home.
