The Brown family is going through a full range of emotions in the new season of Sister Wives.

In an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming season, Robyn prepares to give birth, Maddie announces an engagement and the Browns continue to recover after a catfishing scandal.

In the supertease, the Browns try to pick up the pieces after Meri, 45, was catfished into an online relationship with a woman impersonating a man, and they head to therapy to talk out their issues.

"Meri and I have struggled, for a very long time," family patriarch Kody, 47, says in a confessional.

During therapy, Meri says, "There were times I was angry at you, Kody," adding, "I'm not going to lie. I was angry at you."

Her sister wife says Janelle says, "From an outside perspective, I see the manipulation all over it," while Christine adds that there is discord among the wives because of the scandal: "Robyn's mad because she feel betrayed. I'm sure."

There are also plenty of milestones to celebrate in the look at the new season, particularly with Robyn welcoming her baby daughter Ariella Mae – the family's 18th child.

Sister Wives premieres May 8 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
