The Aerosmith frontman stars in a new Skittles spot where he reunites with his rainbow candy image and PEOPLE has the exclusive first look. Tyler first appeared with the singing Skittles portrait in the brand's Super Bowl 50 commercial.
In the ad, titled "Portrait Duet," the rock star's Skittles replica wonders what it's like to be the "real" Steven Tyler. "I'll never wear leather pants, become proficient with nunchucks or even write a song," says the portrait.
"Why don't we write something together, painting," says Tyler while sitting at the piano. They are soon belting out lyrics to Tyler's new single "Red, White & You," which is featured on the rocker's highly anticipated country solo album, set to be released this summer.
Tyler is looking at a busy year. In addition to the new album, the former American Idol judge is gearing up for "Steven Tyler…Out on a Limb," an intimate concert he's putting on with director Brett Ratner in New York City on May 2. The event will benefit Janie's Fund, a charity to benefit abused and neglected girls.
