Taylor Swift graced the September cover of Vanity Fair and, naturally, gushed about her girl squad.
Swift's friendships with stars like Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Martha Hunt, and Karlie Kloss aren't just for show. The 25-year-old said nothing comes between the close-knit crew. Not even men.
"We even have girls in our group who have dated the same people," Swift said in the interview. "It's almost like the sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us.
"It's so much more important than some guy that it didn't work out with."
Fortunately, things are working out between Swift and her rumored beau Calvin Harris. The "Style" singer recently uploaded an Instagram photo of Harris and gal pal Kloss hanging out in the kitchen. Gigi Hadid also recently made a racy appearance in Harris's new music video "How Deep Is Your Love."
Instagram and kitchen pics aside, Swift – who has seen her fair share of romances – said it's important for women in the limelight to stand together, and her squad does just that.
" … Now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other and not judge each other – and just because you have the same taste in men, we don't hold that against each other," she told the magazine.
Swift also dropped a few powerful names as the inspiration behind her stardom: "If you look at Oprah, she’s made so many people happy over the years. She’s made so much money, but she’s given so much of it away.
"Same thing with Angelina Jolie. She’s been so productive, but she’s used that position to better other people’s lives, and I think that’s where I’d want to be.”
