Chris and Aimee Knutson weren't the only ones eagerly awaiting the birth of their son Henry, who arrived in mid April.
"Teddy Bear Meets Best Friend" uses stop-motion video to tell the story of an adorable stuffed animal excited to welcome a new baby to the Minnesotan couple's home.
"We made it just for Henry and I was a little nervous about posting it at all," Chris Knutson told the St. Paul Pioneer Press
. "But I couldn't help it because I was pretty proud of it and wanted others to see it. Surprisingly, people like it."
The 96-second-clip took about 60 to 80 hours to complete and has more than 113,000 hits on YouTube so far. It begins with the bear sneaking into the bathroom and discovering a positive pregnancy test. The bear is overjoyed, whether dancing on a set of stairs or watching the crib being built or seeing the sonogram.
Finally, the couple – whose faces are never shown – come home with their son. In a truly sweet moment, the last shot shows the first meeting between the bear and newborn. Knutson admits, "it looks like [Henry's] kind of smiling when he sees the bear. We got kind of lucky there."
