The Little Women: Terra's Little Family stars – who have different forms of dwarfism – had the "biggest celebration ever" after genetic testing revealed Penelope only has achondraplasia, which was the "best scenario" in these circumstances.
But in the premiere episode of the second season, the newlyweds are faced with another scary situation.
While Penelope's doctor assures Gnoffo, 39, and Jolé, 35, there are no red flags when it comes to Penny's ventricles in her brain, there is concern when it comes to the area where her brain and spinal cord meet.
"Children with achondraplasia … they have narrowing of where the brain and the spinal cord come together and if that's the case, you have to do an operation," Penelope's doctor tells the parents.
The second season of Little Women: Terra's Little Family airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
