It may have been a quiet Sunday in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tennessee, but Tim McGraw had Main Street rocking with an intimate performance last night.

The multi-platinum country artist celebrated the release of his 13th studio album Sundown Heaven Town at Gray's on Main, surrounded by a small crowd of music industry friends.

"We live in a town with great talent," the singer said to the crowd. "To go into the studio and sink my teeth into some of these songs … it makes me proud. At the end of the day, as an artist who records other people's music, I want you to be proud of it."

McGraw then got the party started with his current single, "Shotgun Rider," before launching into "Keep on Truckin", wondering aloud "… if I can remember the words."

Turns out, he wasn't kidding: McGraw missed his cue and stumbled over the lyrics, asking co-writer Brett Warren to help him out.

McGraw got a little support from wife of nearly 18 years, Faith Hill, who watched from the middle of the room with the couple's three daughters and lovingly yelled, "save him!" as she motioned Warren to the stage.

"When I get back on tour, I need to get one of those video screens with all the words on it," McGraw, 47, joked. "That's what happens after 20-something years!"

The 13-track Sundown Heaven Town is out Sept. 16. The Deluxe Edition features five bonus songs, including a duet between McGraw and Kid Rock on the song "Lincoln Continentals and Cadillacs."
