His secret?
"Oily a-- cheeks," Beckford jokes in this interview with PEOPLE NOW about any scandalous activity he might bring to the iconic male revue. "Lots of baby oil."
Beckford – who follows previous celebrity guest host Ian Ziering – tells PEOPLE NOW that he is bringing the "ratchet" to the show and that he is intrigued by the Chippendales' love of "velcro underwear."
"I might take a pair home," he jokes.
What the model and actor won't be taking home is any bachelorettes, as he is currently dating Victoria's Secret model Shanina Shaik – although he admits to being propositioned all the time.
"Every time I walk the streets in New York, I'm always getting propped by women and propped by men … it's an equal opportunity thing," Beckford says. "But I have a girlfriend."
The actor, who is starring with Vivica A. Fox in the strip club movie Chocolate City, says he exercises hard to keep his 44-year-old body in perfect shape but says "80 percent of the whole thing is dieting."
"Eating right," he says. "And hydrate … water, water, water!"
He'll need plenty of it when he hits the stage April 30 to May 24 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
