Worlds Collide! Former Bachelorette Leading Lady Andi Dorfman to Moderate UnREAL Panel
05/05/2016 AT 09:35 AM EDT
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that Dorfman will be hosting an evening with the cast and creative team of UnREAL, a scripted drama created by a former Bachelor staffer that gives reality dating shows a dark and clever poke in the eye.
The panel will take place on May 23 – the same night the new season of The Bachelorette is set to premiere – at the Paley Center for Media in New York City. Tickets are available for purchase here.
Dorfman, 29, previously starred on Juan Pablo Galavis' season of The Bachelor before landing the role of ABC's next leading lady on the The Bachelorette in 2014. The star has been candid about her experience with the franchise, and recently called the show's 4:30 a.m. rose ceremonies "the stupidest thing I've ever been a part of."
In the meantime, the UnREAL drama is poised to peak in season 2, this time with the show's first African-American suitor. Oh, and it's got all the good old tearful "I'm not crazy" rants and of course, everyone's favorite ruthless producers Rachel (Shiri Appleby) and Quinn (Constance Zimmer).
"We don't solve problems," Appleby snarls at the camera in an exclusive sneak peek above. "We point cameras at them." Zing!
Dorfman is also set to release an anti-self help book titled It's Not Okay. The tongue-in-cheek book is inspired by her own diary and takes readers through the ins and outs of her experience on reality television and how a broken engagement lead her from heartbroken to starting a new chapter in New York. Published by Simon & Schuster, the book will be released on May 17.
UnREAL season 2 premieres June 6 on Lifetime.
