It's water-park weather. For those of you who haven't managed to make it out to the land of wave pools and lazy rivers yet, or perhaps need some kind of audio-visual teaser before you do, perhaps this video of the world's largest water slide will suffice.

It's called the Verrückt at Kansas City's Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and it features a 168-ft., 7-in. slide – after you plummet screaming down that sucker, you get propelled up a second hill by the power of momentum and dropped down another 50-ft. drop. (You do this on a raft, so don't worry about having all the skin on your thighs blasted off from fear and/or velocity.)

Here's a GIF of the drop (courtesy of Sploid), which you can stare at longingly or fearfully, depending on your tolerance/preference for water slides.

Happy summer!
