In January, a jury found Lambert guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder. In addition to her sentence, Lambert must also pay a $10,000 fine, a judge has ruled.
Law enforcement officials contend Lambert met with an undercover cop posing as a hired killer and provided the cop with a down payment and a picture of her stepchildren's mother.
Lambert Wanted to Dispose of Intended Victim with Wood ChipperDuring her conversations with the undercover officer, she suggested using a wood chipper to dispose of her husband's ex's remains, surveillance video obtained by Crime Watch Daily shows.
The footage shows Lambert talking to the undercover officer, who asks her what she wants done with her husband's former wife.
"Just put her in a chopper," Lambert can be heard saying in the footage. "One of those lumberjack chopper things."
Under interrogation, Lambert insisted she never wanted her husband's ex slaughtered. "He said he was going to punch her in the grill," she tells detectives in the footage. "Deck her in the grill – a punch in the face."
