Newlyweds from Saskatchewan, Canada, took advantage of a startling wedding crasher.
The happy couple was posing for wedding pictures on a rural road when a tornado touched down in the fields behind them, reports CTV News. Recognizing this as a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity, photographer Colleen Niska kept snapping the lovebirds amidst Mother Nature's wrath.
The tornado continued to whirl at a safe distance during the session, leading to some seriously stunning shots. The only damage caused by the funnel cloud was a brief tent blow-over at the reception; the rest of the nuptials were a breeze.
Niska shared several of the remarkable snaps of the bride and groom on her Facebook page along with the message: "I've dreamed about a day like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could NOT wait to post these! Pretty sure this will only happen once in my lifetime!"
Facebookers were excited to share Niska's photos, too. The windy and wonderful pictures have over 17,000 shares and 25,000 likes so far.
