For the Wicked Tuna crew, a $12,000 catch is a good day at sea.

After inclement weather puts a damper on their day, Captain TJ Ott and his crew break their dry spell to cash in on a payday of more than $12,000 after catching two giant Bluefin tuna.

The series follows a group of fisherman from Gloucester, Massachusetts, as they make their living rod and reel fishing, one catch at a time.

Just one "monstah" catch can bring in as much as $20,000, but with a limited fishing season and dwindling tuna populations, it's not easy an easy task to accomplish.

In a clip for the National Geographic show, Ott wrestles to get the second catch of the day with the help of his mates Jarrett and Mike and his dogs Reba and Ripple.

"Someone is watching over us today," he says after a tense battle with the fish. "We are truly blessed. The Hot Tuna is en fuego."

Wicked Tuna airs Monday (at 9 p.m. ET) on National Geographic.
