Unexpected Reception
With more than 14 million viewers tuning in weekly, Larter appears on one of five Entertainment Weekly covers dedicated to the Heroes frenzy. EW's special edition reflects the success of TV's top-rated new series, which makes household names of formerly unknown stars like Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Masi Oka and Milo Ventimiglia. ''When we were doing the photo shoot for this story,'' costar Adrian Pasdar tells EW, ''we were all looking at each other like we were our own stand-ins. We kept waiting for the real stars to show up."

Ali Larter Gets Engaged
After starring in the sci-fi thriller Resident Evil: Extinction, Larter talks candidly in Cosmopolitan about her relationship with actor Hayes MacArthur. "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him," she says, "and that we could do it tomorrow." In December, MacArthur proposes and Larter accepts.

More Than Her Looks
Larter, 32, appears on the cover of Allure, which praises the Heroes star for her physical attributes. "My fiancé will always say to me, 'Please – you've got Hot-Girl Syndrome," she says. "I think that's where insecurity comes from, because it starts with being celebrated for the way you look...and it's weird that it's something you did nothing to get." In the interview, Larter reveals that she's been asked to lose weight by movie producers, but says, "This is what I signed up for...They pay me for it."

Larter Obsessed with Hayes
With news swirling about her reported departure from Heroes, Larter appears on her second Cosmo cover. Dubbed the magazine's "Fun Fearless Female of the Year," Larter–who stars with Beyoncé Knowles in the No. 1 thriller Obsessed–says she's happier than ever with her fiancé at her side: "[He] showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it's supposed to be."

Ali Marries Hayes in Maine
Wearing a Vera Wang wedding gown, Larter, 33, exchanges vows with MacArthur, 32, at his family estate in Kennebunkport, Maine. She recently gushed that her longtime love "brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him."
2010: Baby Makes Three
With Heroes off the air, Larter concentrates on her next project: motherhood. "Ali and Hayes are thrilled to be expecting their first child," Larter's rep tells PEOPLE. Three years ago, the actress was already talking motherhood, telling Cosmopolitan, "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies." On Dec. 20, Larter and MacArthur welcome son Theodore to their family.
