Amanda Seyfried's breasts predicted the weather in 2004's Mean Girls, but we're wondering if dimwit "Plastic" Karen Smith could've forecasted the porcelain-skinned actress's rise to the top of Hollywood's It-girl list.

The Allentown, Pa., native got her start as a child model before displaying her flair for melodrama on daytime TV's As the World Turns and All My Children. With her soapy roots properly sowed, Seyfried hit it big when she dropped her I.Q. a few points and donned a plethora of miniskirts for a starring role opposite Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls.

Since then, Seyfried has racked up a steady stream of credits, from HBO's polygamy drama Big Love and the film adaptation of Mamma Mia! to Dear John and Les Misérables, all of which have cemented her leading-lady status. Offscreen, the blonde beauty has also racked up an equally impressive crop of beaus, including Dominic Cooper, Alexander Skarsgard, Ryan Phillippe and Justin Long.
