BRIT'S FAMILY FUN IN VEGAS

No kids' menu? No problem. While BRITNEY SPEARS and KEVIN FEDERLINE dined in Tao at Vegas' Venetian resort on July 27, 11-month-old Sean Preston munched on mashed carrots, spinach and asparagus made especially for him by head chef Josh Thomsen, a source tells Insider. And he was really eating up Dad's affection. "Kevin held the baby...lavishing him with attention," says the source. Two days later Federline got down to business, filming the video for "Lose Control" at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace. After the 12-hour shoot, Federline jammed to his single and embraced Spears. When the deejay played Jay-Z's "Interlude" (including the line "Got the hottest girl in the game wearin' my chain"), he grabbed the mic and changed the lyrics in tribute to his wife: "I got the hottest girl in the game wearing my ring."

READY FOR BABY NO. 2?

COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE, the star of F/X's upcoming series Dirt, has babies on the brain. On July 25, when asked about having a second child with husband DAVID ARQUETTE, she confessed to Insider, "We're hoping it will happen." Five days later, at the premiere of her animated flick Barnyard, the actress (who's usually not one for personal chit-chat on the red carpet) added, "We're thinking about it." Now the question is, how does 2-year-old Coco Arquette feel about an addition to the family?

FAST TAKES

ANGELINA JOLIE (above) showed no signs of leftover baby weight at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel's Dakota restaurant on July 31. No sign of Brad Pitt or their three kids either—the actress was dining on salad and halibut with her assistant and humanitarian John Prendergast, who briefed her on conditions in Darfur and Uganda. But the group wasn't all business: They shared a bottle of red wine (after it passed a Jolie taste test), a fellow diner reports to Insider.

A lesser-known role for RENEE ZELLWEGER (below)—dancing queen. She played one at N.Y.C.'S Butter just after midnight on Aug. 1. (Also there: WESLEY SNIPES and SPIKE LEE.) "She danced with everybody!" a source tells Insider, adding that Zellweger happily greeted fans. "She had a great time."
