Boston Legal and Ed actress Julie Bowen, 37, is four months pregnant with her first child. Bowen and husband Scott Phillips, a real estate investor, married in 2004. "[I'm] eating in the middle of the night," says Bowen, who wants to be surprised by the baby's sex. "I'm like a bear—I wake up in the middle of the night, eat food and go back to sleep again."
NASCAR racecar driver Jeff Gordon, 35, tied the knot Nov. 7 with Belgian model and actress Ingrid Vandebosch, 37 (center, with Gordon). The pair, engaged less than five months, held a private ceremony in Mexico but will delay their honeymoon until after he competes in Miami's Ford 400 Nov. 19. The couple initially met in 2002 through mutual friends and began dating three years later. This is Gordon's second marriage.
Jamie Foxx recently underwent throat surgery to have a parathyroid gland removed. The actor-singer, 38, "has fully recovered," according to Foxx's rep.... Pamela Anderson has suffered a miscarriage, her rep confirms to PEOPLE. Anderson, 39, who wed Kid Rock, 35, this summer, revealed Nov. 10 she had lost the pregnancy in Vancouver, where she was filming Blonde and Blonder.
On Nov. 8 a Montgomery County, Md., judge sentenced Lee Boyd Malvo, 21, to six consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole for the 2002 D.C. area sniper attacks that left 10 people dead. The conviction will be added to his life term in Virginia, where his partner in the shootings, John Allen Muhammad, 45, is on death row. "I'm truly sorry, grieved and ashamed for what I've done," said Malvo.
Gerald Levert, the sultry-voiced soul singer who topped R&B charts during his two-decade career, died Nov. 10 at 40 of an apparent heart attack at his Cleveland home. Levert rose to fame in the '80s with the trio LeVert, along with brother Sean Levert and Marc Gordon, with hits like "(Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop) Goes My Mind," "Casanova" and "Baby, I'm Ready." He went on to work with the R&B group LSG. Then, in the '90s, he branched out with his first solo album, Private Line, which included the successful "Baby Hold On to Me" duet with his father, Eddie Levert, of the O'Jays. "I grew up with [Gerald's] music," hip-hop star Chris "Ludacris" Bridges tells PEOPLE. "He gave so much to the industry."... Joe Jagger, the father of the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger and a onetime physical education schoolteacher, died Nov. 11 at the age of 93 from pneumonia, in a Kingston, Surrey, hospital days after a fall at his nearby home.

Nancy Pelosi, 66, the new House Speaker designate (left, with husband Paul), welcomed sixth grandchild Paul Michael Vos, Nov. 13. It's the first child for Pelosi's filmmaker daughter Alexandra, 36, and journalist husband Michiel Von, 35. "My mother told me, 'If we don't win the House, I'll be your baby nurse,'" says Alexandra. "I was a cynic, so I didn't have a nurse lined up before the election!"
