TAMYRA GRAY & SAM WATTERS

Four years ago fans were stunned when favorite Tamyra Gray was booted three weeks before the finale during the first season of American Idol. On Sept. 2 she wasn't about to make any surprise exits. Standing before 45 friends and family members on a seaside cliff in Capri, Gray, 27, exchanged vows with songwriter-producer Sam Watters, 36, a former member of the '90s R&B group Color Me Badd. She began dating him more than two years ago, and he worked with her on her 2004 debut album, The Dreamer. After the ceremony guests received tiny boxes that, when opened, released butterflies into the air. Then the newlyweds "walked through the city and the townspeople were opening their windows and cheering for them," says Gray's manager Lisa Braudé. "The wedding was amazing."

JEREMY LONDON & MELISSA CUNNINGHAM

Marriage wasn't in the script when Jeremy London and Melissa Cunningham overlapped on WB's 7th Heaven in 2003. But two years later London, 33, who also guest-starred in Party of Five, presented Cunningham, 35, with a three-carat diamond ring. On Sept. 2 in West Hills, Calif., they got married in front of 150 guests, including Cunningham pal Carmen Electra. Next step for the newlyweds? "I'm definitely going to expand our family as much as possible," says London. "As soon as possible."
