Eva Longoria, Jessica Simpson and Carmen Electra Celebrate the Opening of Pal and Hairstylist-to-the-stars Ken Paves's New Salon

The opening of celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves's new Beverly Hills salon called for—what else?—a curls' night out. Showing off new dos for the Sept. 29 occasion, clients and friends including Jessica Simpson, Eva Longoria and Carmen Electra nibbled on "KP" petits fours and hailed Hollywood's "hair king," as Longoria (wearing one of Paves's Hair Do wigs) said, "I can sit down, read the newspaper and look up 30 minutes later and look gorgeous." Pal and business partner Simpson praised Paves for his support during her divorce. "When I was going through a really rough time in December and January, I would drive to his house and spend the night," she said. "He is the world I revolve around."

Paves's guest of honor was Rachel Nasuti (bottom right, with Michael Michele, Lara Flynn Boyle and Paves). The 14-year-old from Detroit has the genetic disease epidermolysis bullosa, which makes her skin extraordinarily fragile. Paves, who met Nasuti four years ago, had his stylist team primp her, and he, Longoria, Simpson and Electra are auctioning off autographed photos of themselves on eBay to benefit Befriend EB, a charity which aids families (including Nasuti's) coping with the illness. Said Simpson of Nasuti: "She truly represents beauty from the inside."
