Mary Winkler, 33—convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the 2006 shooting death of her husband, minister Matthew Winkler—was given a three-year sentence in Selmer, Tenn., June 8. She will be eligible for parole after just 210 days, five months of which she has already spent in jail. She can serve 60 days of her sentence in a mental-health facility, meaning she may spend as little as one additional week behind bars. Her three daughters are currently living with her late husband's family, who have filed to terminate her parental rights and adopt the children.
Sean Connery (inset, right), 77, revealed June 7 that he will not reprise his role as Dr. Henry Jones, the father of Harrison Ford's character (inset), in the fourth Indiana Jones film, due out next May. Connery, who quit acting in 2005, said in a statement, "In the end, retirement is just too damn much fun."
Six years after their breakup, the Spice Girls are preparing for a reunion tour, sources close to the British quintet tell PEOPLE. "It should be happening in December," says an insider, who adds that Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell (far right), 34, and Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton (second from left), 31, have been in the studio writing new songs. The other members—Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham (center), 33, Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown (fourth from left), 32, and Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm, 33—are also expected to participate. "They want to do a worldwide tour," a source says.
