Fergie's New Bag

The "Dutchess" will become a designing woman this September with a handbag collection she's creating for casual-chic label Kipling. The star is keeping most of the details under wraps for now, but it's safe to say they'll probably be G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S. Fergie talks to PEOPLE exclusively about her newest gig.

What is the design philosophy behind your collection?
My inspiration characterizes my own personal style yet will stay true to the brand: casual, yet stylish.

Why Kipling?
I've used their luggage for years, so I was thrilled when they started making handbags and was able to get involved.

Will you be doing more designing?
I have plans to design two collections [for Kipling] beginning this fall and continuing through the summer of 2008.

STAR TREND YOU CAN WEAR CANDY PINK LIPS

Bright pink and fuchsia lips may have ruled the runways, but stars are stepping out with a more natural take on the trend. "Pink lips are a great choice," says CoverGirl makeup artist Molly R. Stern, who pinked up Rihanna's smile at a recent event (left). "You can wear a bright pink and feel sexy or tone it down with a nudey pink to feel fresh." And it's great for anyone who's burned out on winter's classic red. "[Pink] does the same thing that a red lip does without being too strong or heavy."
