"If you've ever struggled with weight, you feel like gaining it back is right around the corner," says Tina Yothers. And if you've ever lost weight with a TV audience looking on as you sweated in spandex and tipped a patio-sized scale, you want to make sure it stays off. Yothers, who lost 42 lbs. last year on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, is gaining again, but not because she has slacked off her diet. The former Family Ties star is five months pregnant. For her fellow alumni without the pregnancy excuse, keeping up Club's unforgiving low-calorie diet and boot-camp-style workouts "requires an iron will," says comedian Bruce Vilanch, of season 3. "On the show you have the clock ticking, you don't want to let down your team—it's a great formula for anxiety." He relaxed when the cameras stopped, as did some other Fit Club veterans. Not Gary Busey, who says, "I have a new way of life from that show." He and others share their experiences, and best tips for maintaining hard-won losses.

Despite carrying her second pregnancy, Yothers, 33, is slimmer than before appearing on Fit Club 4. "I was triple this size when I was pregnant with Lilly [born in 2005] since I only worked out my hand and mouth." This time is different. She modified her NutriSystem diet to eat for two ("more calories, fruit and protein") and works out three days a week. One tip she held on to: "Find a cookie you don't like," she says. "I don't like oatmeal raisin, so I made them for my husband last night."

JACKEE HARRY
STARTING WEIGHT: 202 lbs.
ENDING WEIGHT: 163 lbs.
WEIGHT NOW: 181 lbs.
She ditched Fit Club's diet and freely admits, "I don't exercise." The result? The 227 star put back some pounds but is still happy with her size. "I don't mind dating younger men now," says season 2's Harry, 51. "It might be ego, but I really feel I can keep up with them." She's directing a gospel play but wouldn't say no to TV again. One idea? "A reality show about finding me a husband!"

GARY BUSEY
STARTING WEIGHT: 209 lbs.
ENDING WEIGHT: 170 lbs.
WEIGHT NOW: 170 lbs.
To maintain his final weight, the Oscar-nominated actor made small changes ("After dinner I walk around the block four times") and big ones: no more taking bags of fried okra to the movies. He works out daily and eats five small meals. Despite his blowups on season 2 (he sparred with Wendy, the Snapple Lady), Busey, 62, next in the thriller Blue Mountain, calls his 100 days on Fit Club "an amazing journey."

For Vilanch, 58, who is touring the country with his one-man show Almost Famous, regaining weight is the least of his worries. "I shredded a tendon in my left foot," the comedian sighs. "And I can only eat soft foods because of my new dental implants so 'Hello, pasta!'" Setbacks aside, Vilanch, who swims often and tries to stick to a low-carb diet, relishes his curves, saying, "I think I am very sexy, and people tell me I am."
