How to commemorate a rare royal visit to the U.S. by the Queen? Hire celebrity shooter Annie Leibovitz to snap the official portrait. "She is such a prominent American photographer," says a royal spokeswoman. "We thought it would be appropriate." Wearing a Stewart Parvin evening gown and heirloom jewelry, Elizabeth sat for a half hour in Buckingham Palace's White Drawing Room. "I want," Leibovitz said, "to take a very simple portrait."
