FOX TO FANS: HANDS OFF!

Lost star Matthew Fox may have found his best bodyguard in wife Margherita Ronchi. "Fans have come on to me while I'm with my wife," says Fox, 30, currently in We Are Marshall. "It's, like, 'Whoa, girl. This is my wife, Margherita. You're lovely, but it's not going to happen.'" Ronchi helps put an end to any potential amore. "It's awkward as hell and pisses my wife off big-time. And she's Italian, man. She does not take that."

SMITH'S RETAIL VALUE

So he didn't snag a Golden Globe for his turn as a homeless dad in The Pursuit of Happyness. Will Smith knows his worth. "I've never been an awards guy," says Smith, 38, who has a better way to judge his work. "I'm more of a mall guy. If I go to the mall on a Saturday and they don't shut it down, I feel I'm slipping. If they close the King of Prussia mall down outside of Philly days before Christmas, I'm doing all right."

Relating to her character's marital trouble in the film: It kills you because this person that's supposed to be sharing your life, who supposedly loves you more than anyone and is supposed to understand you more than anyone, is trying to bring you down. It kills a little piece of you and that's a really sad thing.

Dating again: It's a big change. I was single for a while and I'm actually in a new relationship now [with agent John Campisi].

Having children: I definitely would like kids someday.

Outlook for the future: I'm so optimistic, people tag me as naive.
