According to my thesaurus, intriguing means appealing, engaging, fascinating, charming, etc. Many of your choices were very appropriate: C. Delores Tucker, Selena and Cal Ripken Jr. However, there is absolutely nothing intriguing about the Unabomber, Louis Farrakhan or O.J. Simpson. To publicize them and their exploits is unbelievably shocking. But maybe you were going for the shock value?

I was concerned when I read about Danny Kirchner (Baby Richard). I'm not a child psychologist, but I am a mother. Most 4-year-old boys love to spend time with their fathers. However, it doesn't seem entirely healthy for this little boy to stay "mostly indoors" and not be "interested in going out." This seems to paint a picture of a child who is terrified that, since his last family disappeared, his new father might be taken away from him as well.

I was appalled at your treatment of Dee Dee Myers. Since her arrest for driving under the influence [charges were later dropped], Dee Dee has said many times that she should not have been driving that evening. But placing her in the same category with Timothy McVeigh and Mark Fuhrman? Clearly, someone there wasn't thinking straight. Dee Dee Myers has suffered plenty as a result of her actions. PEOPLE should have thought twice before piling on.
