That was before the great soap-writer in the sky took over. The very next evening, at the theater, she met Lorenzo Doumani—a dashing you-know-what with roots you-know-where. "I don't remember what the play was. I was too enamored," says Epperson. Doumani's faculties were equally impaired. "The only thing memorable about the play," he says, "was her."
The couple's wedding in L.A. last May was picture-perfect. Two hundred fifty guests watched Epperson glide down the aisle in white peaude-soie, then repaired to the 9,000-square-foot mansion that Brenda and Lorenzo, 30, call home. The reception featured cooing doves and dancing into the wee hours—romance enough to pass muster on any soap. So far, though, Doumani hasn't developed amnesia or turned into his own evil twin. This real-life union just might last.
