Dancer-choreographer Erick Hawkins, 85, creator of a free-flowing style that helped shape modern dance, died of prostate cancer Nov. 23 in Manhattan. Hawkins, who founded his own dance troupe in 1951, was married to choreographer Martha Graham from 1948 to '54. He received the National Medal of Arts from President Clinton on Oct. 14....
Actress Priscilla Morrill, 67, who played the recurring role of Lou Grant's wife, Edie, on The Mary Tyler Moore Show from 1973 to '75, died of complications from a kidney infection Nov. 9 at a hospital in L.A. Morrill also made appearances on such TV shows as Newhart, Blossom and Coach.
Actress Mimi Rogers, 39, and her boyfriend of four years, TV and film producer Chris Ciaffa, 31, welcomed their first child, Lucy Julia (7 lbs., 2 ozs.), Nov. 20 in L.A....

Former Partridge Family star turned radio talk show host Danny Bona-duce, 35, and Gretchen, 29, his wife of four years who is also his manager, had their first child, Isabella (7 lbs., 6 ozs.), on Nov. 23 in Chicago.
Former Vice President I Dan Quayle, 47, was in stable condition at an Indianapolis hospital after being treated Nov. 28 for a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot in his right lung. Quayle, who was expected to announce in the next few weeks that he would run for President in 1996, was admitted to the hospital after he experienced shortness of breath. Quayle, who will probably be hospitalized for a week, was given anticoagulants to dissolve the clot. His doctors believe he will make a full recovery....
Prince Rainier of Monaco, 71, was reported in good condition after double-bypass heart surgery, performed Nov. 25 at a clinic in Monte Carlo. The operation took place four days after the prince, who smokes three packs of cigarettes a day, went to the clinic for a routine physical examination.
Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, 27, filed a $12 million libel suit against the tabloid The Globe on Nov. 22 in federal court in Los Angeles. Anderson claims a story in the Nov. 22 edition falsely described her as a heroin addict whose habit is jeopardizing her job. Anderson denies she has a drug problem. Globe associate publisher Terry Raskyn, 42, says the newspaper stands by the story.
