Courtney Love, 30, widow of grunge rock star Kurt Cobain and lead singer of the group Hole, pleaded guilty on Jan. 23 in a Melbourne court to committing offensive behavior on an aircraft. Love had been arrested on Jan. 21 for swearing at a flight attendant who told her not to prop her feet up on the bulkhead during a Qantas flight from Brisbane to Melbourne. The singer, who had recently begun an Australian tour with her band, was ordered to post a $500 bond against any other run-ins during her stay.
Revlon tycoon Ron Perelman, 52, and Democratic political activist Patricia Duff, 40, were wed in a civil ceremony several weeks after the Dec. 13 birth of their daughter Caleigh Sophia.
Bachelor billionaire David Koch, 54, executive vice president of Koch Industries, his family's oil and gas company, has reportedly purchased the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis's palatial apartment on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan for $9.5 million. Harrison claims O'Brien misused an as yet unspecified sum of the musician's earnings so that he could buy "yachts and villas in various parts of the world" while Harrison "suffered enormous losses."
