Trendy as ever, Madonna has joined the navel academy. The pop star displayed her newly pierced belly button at the L.A. premiere of With Honors, the movie directed by her Truth or Dare Boswell, Alek Keshishian. She sings the film's title song.
Smoky Mountains majesty Dolly Parton was riding high at the annual opening of Dollywood, her theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. The country superstar has also launched her very own makeup line, which she is selling through infomercials and at Dollywood.
The heart of the matter: Singer Don Henley, now reunited with the Eagles for a summer-long concert tour, got plenty of peaceful easy feelings from pal Sally Field, who supported his L.A. benefit for the Walden Woods Project. Henley has raised over $8 million to preserve 68 acres of Henry David Thoreau's famed retreat in Concord, Mass. As for Field, who's fresh from the box office hit Mrs. Doubtfire, she'll next costar with Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump, a romantic comedy due in July.
Dynasty two: Heather Locklear, who recently introduced TV mom Linda Gray to Melrose Place, brought her real mom, Diane Locklear, to L.A.'s Genii Awards, honoring women in TV and radio. Gray is set to spin off in a new Fox series, Models Inc., in June.
Love is blond: Tom and Roseanne Arnold made shorts work of their recent split with a surprise landing at Planet Hollywood in the Mall of America outside Minneapolis. The couple billed and cooed while dining a deux.
