AMONG THE ROYAL OFFSPRING OF ROCK and roll, he has the rhythm-and-bluesiest blood of all: He is Elvis Presley's first grandson. The King's new heir, 7 lbs. 8 oz. at birth, arrived Oct. 21 in Florida. His parents, Elvis's daughter Lisa Marie, 24, and her husband, musician Danny Keough, 27, live in Los Angeles but decided to have the baby in Florida to avoid the kind of media circus that surrounded the birth of their daughter, Danielle, 3½.

The baby, a spokesman said, was delivered "naturally and in complete silence in a calm and supportive environment" consistent with the parents' Scientologist beliefs.

Blue-suede bootees would probably be an appropriate gift.
