>GUEST STAR OF THE YEAR

ON SAVED BY THE BELL, SHE PLAYS Lisa, a fresh-faced high schooler. But this year, actress Lark Voorhies earned a graduate degree in guest stardom. On Fresh Prince's funniest episode of the season, Voorhies was the girl who claimed Carlton had fathered her baby. On ABC's Getting By, she was the lissome ballerina who enticed Marcus into dance class. On a three-part Martin, she was the sweet thing who consoled Martin during his break-up with Gina. She currently has a recurring role on the NBC soap Days of Our Lives as Wendy, a teenage mother. But Voorhies has kept a low profile compared to our Guest Star of the Year: Jessica Tuck. On HBO's Dream On, she was Toby's catty office competitor. On Fox's Flying Blind, she was Neil's vitriolic sister-in-law. She donned padding on ABC's Home Improvement to play the pregnant wife of one of Tim's buddies. Over on CBS, Tuck wrapped a real boa around her neck to play the Snake Lady on Picket Fences. She was a tough judge with a soft spot for Matt on The Hat Squad and Jessica Fletcher's book editor on Murder, She Wrote. Tuck, by the way, got her start on the ABC soap One Life to Live. Her love interest on that show was Joe Lando, who's also made quite a splash this year in prime time with his "Me Tarzan, You Jane Seymour" act on Doctor Quinn: Medicine Woman.
