Christian Slater (right) and his longtime companion, actress Nina Huang, were among the celebrities checking out the snake charmers and belly dancers at the party, which, combined with other events across the U.S., raised $75,000.

Blossom heartthrob Joey Lawrence, 17, who also boasts the pop hit "Nothin' My Love Can't Fix," lost the grunge match when impish brother Andy, 5, played sartorial copycat at an NBC promo event in New York City. Andy, who is under contract to NBC, has appeared as the young Joey in Blossom.
