She's beautiful, she's bubbly, she has a hit sitcom. Heck, she's even (see left) an animal lover. What's not to like about Caroline in the City's Lea Thompson? We're sorry to report that it's her wardrobe. What emerges from her closet is all over the fashion map and offers no clues about the 36-year-old actress and mother of two. "Lea needs to rethink a lot of things when she's getting dressed," says MTV veejay Kennedy. "She does not project any of her own personality in any of these clothes." Costume designer Deena Appel bemoans the fact that Thompson has "so much potential, but I don't know if she has found her own style." Designer Kate Spade is here to help. "She looks pretty when her outfits are simpler," she says, "and a bit more elegant and modern."
