A Montana judge decided on May 26 that Patricia Shannon, 64, who claimed that for 29 years she had been the secret paramour of Charles Kuralt, does not have a valid right to the late CBS newsman's fishing retreat in the state. A letter that Kuralt penned in 1989 gave the property to Shannon, but the judge ruled that a will drawn up in 1994 superseded it, leaving the real estate to Suzanna, Kuralt's wife of 35 years, and his children.
After a four-month separation, country singer Alan Jackson, 39, and wife Denise, 38, have patched things up, according to a statement released by the couple on May 27. The high school sweethearts married in 1979 and have three girls.

He now faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass.
