In New York City, Diane Sawyer had a really, really bad hair day, but the Good Morning America coanchor didn't let a little rain dampen her disposition at the Toys "R" Us 5K and Kids' Fun Run, which raised money to help fight pediatric cancer.
Sweethearts Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt looked very much attached as they toured the streets of Granada, Spain, where they were on vacation. Aniston is on hiatus from Friends, while Pitt's next movie, Fight Club, costarring Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter, opens in July.
In L.A., Madonna and child (pint-size actor Malcolm Stumpf, 7) frolicked on the beach with Julia Roberts's beau, Benjamin Bratt. Of course it was only for a movie: The trio were filming a scene from the drama The Next Best Thing, in which Madonna decides to have a baby with her gay best friend (Rupert Everett) and then falls in love with Bratt.
Acting way out of character, Eric McCormack (left) and Sean Hayes, who play gay pals on the hit sitcom Will & Grace, fawned all over their costar Megan Mullally at a bash in Manhattan to celebrate NBC's fall lineup.
Army Specialist Steven M. Gonzales, who for 32 days was one of the three American prisoners of war held by Serb forces in Yugoslavia, got a big welcome-home kiss from Kia, a 1,500-pound beluga whale, at SeaWorld in San Antonio. (Animal trainer Anita Lenihan chaperoned.)
A mom-to-be for the fourth time, Princess Caroline, who is expecting a baby with her new husband, Prince Ernst, this summer, strolled with daughter Charlotte, 12, in St. Rémy de Provence, France, where they have a home.
The Young and the Restless's youngest actors, Bryant Jones, 7, and Camryn Grimes, 9, played dress-up at the Daytime Emmys in Manhattan. At a party later, General Hospital's Ingo Rademacher (below) dipped costar Tava Smiley.
