Dale Dye, who also prepped the actors in Saving Private Ryan. On his first night in Morocco, Underwood arrived for dinner with his castmates. "No fraternizing," Dye told him. "You keep an officerial distance from them. And take your hands out of your pockets." Underwood recalls thinking, "Did I sign up for this? I must have lost my mind."
