Plenty of fans flowed to Las Vegas Sept. 18 to watch welterweight boxer Felix Trinidad top Oscar De La Hoya in a 12-round decision. But another pair of clinching jocks drew as much attention as the headliners: Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, smooching ringside. It was a muchawaited confirmation of the tennis champs' budding love match. A volley of rumors began in mid-September, when newly crowned U.S. Open winner Agassi, 29—still "very close friends" with ex-wife Brooke Shields since their April divorce, according to Shields's father, Frank—was spotted dining à deux in Manhattan and L.A. with longtime court queen Graf, 30, who retired from pro tennis in August.

Is it serious? Friends are mum, but German-born Graf announced she has split with her seven-year steady, racecar driver Michael Bartels. "She confessed to him that she was now with Agassi," Bartels's father told the German newspaper Bild, which reports Graf has moved into Agassi's Vegas house. "They are bouncing around in the area," Graf's manager Hans Engert said. And apparently finding love on the bounce.
