Cool Britannia: Accomplished equestrian Prince William helped his Highgrove polo team defeat the rival Lovelocks at the Cirencester Park Polo Club in Gloucestershire, England. But to the dismay of his female fans, Wills, who headed for his wheels, waited until after the match to go bareback.
Get ready for kid Rock: At the Manhattan premiere of his action comedy Bad Company, Chris Rock, with wife Malaak, a not-for-profit exec, demonstrated that fatherhood can be a handful now that the couple are expecting their first child, a girl, on June 28. Meanwhile Susan Sarandon (below) took in the show with her best supporting actress, daughter Eva Amurri, 17. The two will team up onscreen in The Banger Sisters, a comedy due this fall.
Rapper Lil' Kim (right) got the I'eau down from singer Deborah Gibson when she bumped into the former pop princess at the Fragrance Foundation's annual FiFi award ceremonies in New York City. The scentillating pair were among the presenters at the perfume industry's highest honors.
Denim-ic duo: John Corbett and Bo Derek made vroom for two on a Harley after catching the John Wayne classic Rio Bravo in L.A. Comfy as they may seem, a rep for the actress insists the pair—who were also spotted together at the Indy 500 in May—are pals. Derek has a cameo in Dana Carvey's comedy The Master of Disguise, due Aug. 2.
Doubles, anyone? In Paris for the French Open, Jennifer Capriati explored the sights and shops with Matthew Perry, who came to see her play. "We've been hanging out a little," said Capriati, "but he's just a friend."
