Dear Jennifer, Courteney, Matthew, David, Lisa and Matt...thanks for one more year.
Kim Raines, MURRELLS INLET, S.C.
This may sound like our family doesn't have a life, but the only time we get together is for Friends. We have not missed an episode in nine years. You're not over yet!
Terri Sprague, NOOKSACK, WASH.
When Friends first came on the air, I was working my way through college. I'm now 30 years old and happily married with an adorable daughter. I have moved on with my life. I think it's time for the actors on Friends to move on with theirs.
Amy Bellowe, ROSEVILLE, CALIF
So the stars of Friends want to keep it going? Big surprise there. It wouldn't have anything to do with the absurd amount of money they get per episode, would it? Of course not.
Dayna Novello, REDDING, CALIF.
Friends is done. Let it rest in peace. After years of funny, quirky plots and characters, the only ones that still have shine are Phoebe and Joey. Please, get a life!

Millionaire Angels
In a world where some people have so much, while others go to bed hungry, it is humbling and nothing short of a miracle that these wealthy individuals are giving what they can really afford to give. I don't have much, but these special people have motivated me to do more.
June Rousey, BEREA, KY.
Zell and Emily Kravinsky are truly angels. Their hearts are pure and their minds are contently on others. Not only are they giving $15 million to the needy, they have also managed to raise children as loving as themselves. I was surprised that the kids don't mind having their inheritance donated to needy causes. The Kravinskys deserve all the credit they can get. I'm glad your magazine recognized them for it.

Winona Ryder
I guess being a celebrity has its clout when it comes to committing a crime. I'm outraged that Winona Ryder got off so easy. Any private citizen would be in prison.
Evelyn Wenzel, TUCSON, ARIZ.
Tito Mukhopadhyay
Having an autistic brother, I was touched by Tito Mukhopadhyay's ability to communicate his feelings. Tito's capability of self-expression just validates what those of us who are blessed to love an autistic person already know—they are able to feel and love and they possess a sense of awareness that reaches beyond the spoken word.

Iran Brown
As a human, I was horrified by the sniper shootings. And as a mother, I was devastated when 13-year-old Iran Brown was assailed outside his school. I'm sure my prayers for him were just a raindrop in the ocean of those he received from all over. Please keep the faith, Iran.

Picks & Pans
"Wake us when Part 3 starts"? Do you know what you're saying? The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was not in the least bit as boring as Leah Rozen makes it sound. I stood in line for four hours on opening day, and it was worth every second of waiting. This movie could not put anyone to sleep, with the obvious exception of your dull reviewer. Perhaps it would be a good idea to hire someone who understands the genius of J.R.R. Tolkien and not just shallow Hollywood rubbish.
Caitlin Spanjer, COBETT, ORE
What did Ralph Novak do? Flip through the lyric sheet, play a snippet of Shania Twain's latest CD Up! and call it a day? Sure, it's not Mozart, and it's not supposed to be. It is feel-good, well-crafted pop music—or country, as the case may be. No, I didn't wait five years for this, but I'll bet those people who did are not going to be disappointed.
Noelle Smith, MISSISSAUGA, ONT.
Style Watch
You have no idea how fascinated I was to find out that Jennifer Lopez purchased seven pairs of panties with the name "Ben" stitched on them. It's things like this that make your publication so worthwhile.
