TV Personality Daisy Fuentes is engaged. Her beau of three years, British singer-songwriter Mart Goss, 34, actually proposed a few months ago: Goss got down on one knee in front of the fireplace at their home in the Hollywood Hills and popped the question on Nov. 17, her 36th birthday. I hear the couple plan on setting a date in the fall, but in the meantime they have been hunting for the perfect wedding spot, looking everywhere from California's Big Sur to the Bahamas. Keep an eye out for the diamond-and-platinum wedding-band-style engagement ring on Fuentes's left hand when she cohosts the Miss USA pageant on NBC March 24.
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs tells me, "My love life is straight. I'm back with Kim." That would be Kim Porter, his pre-J.Lo girlfriend and the mother of his 4-year-old son Christian. Combs and Porter had been locked in a contentious three-year legal battle over child-support payments, but they sorted things out a year ago. The couple reportedly first reunited over New Year's, sharing a midnight kiss at a Miami nightclub. Since then, says Combs, they've been together and "just taking it day by day."
Shooting has started on the second American Pie sequel, American Wedding. But don't expect the old gang to be back: Actresses Mena Suvari, Tara Reid, Natasha Lyonne and Shannon Elizabeth will all be MIA in the new film. "My character wasn't friends with them," says Alyson Hannigan, who walks down the aisle with Jason Biggs in the comedy due this summer. Still, some of the old stars were disappointed not to be on the guest list: "As far as I know, my invitation to the wedding still hasn't gone out," says Elizabeth.
Everyone from Rosie O'Donnell to Hillary Clinton is a fan of TLC's hit show Trading Spaces, in which friends redecorate a room in each other's home on a $1,000 budget. Last year Dixie Chick Natalie Maines strapped on a smock and appeared on an episode with her mom. Now host Paige Davis tells me that Less Than Perfect stars and Hollywood neighbors Andy Dick and Sara Rue swapped house keys for a show set to air April 13. "Sara worked her butt off, and Andy worked about half a cheek off," jokes Davis. She adds that Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, who's also a devotee, has expressed interest and could be next-if the model-actress can work up the courage to let someone else take a crack at her house.
