Grammy-nominated country singer Jamie O'Neal, 37, and her husband, singer and recording engineer Rodney Good, 37, welcomed a daughter, Aliyah Kailin, on June 11 in Nashville. It's the first child for the couple, who were married in 2000....

Rapper Angie Martinez, 32, and her boyfriend, Dru Hill singer Nokio, 26, welcomed their first child, son Niko Ruffin, on June 12 in New York City....

Actor Larry Bryggman, 64, who has played Dr. John Dixon on As the World Turns since 1969, and his wife, Tracey, an assistant director on Guiding Light, had their second child, daughter Riley Claire, on June 11 in Manhattan. The couple have a son, Ryan, 3, and Bryggman has two adult children from previous relationships.

Expecting
Late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien, 40, and his wife, advertising executive Liza Powel, 32, are expecting their first child in October. They wed in January 2002.

Split

Model Rachel Hunter, 33, filed for divorce from singer Rod Stewart, 58, on June 16 in L.A. The couple, who split in January 1999 after nine years of marriage, have two children together, Renee, 11, and Liam, 8....

On the same day, also in L.A., Gina Kimmel, 38, the wife of late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, 35, filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage. The couple, who separated last fall, share custody of Katie, 11, and Kevin, 9.

Arrested
Kim Mathers, 28, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, 30, was arrested on June 10 in St. Clair Shores, Mich., for driving with a revoked license. Mathers, who was pulled over for a moving violation, may also be charged with drug possession; police are investigating two bags of white powder that were found in the car. Mathers's lawyer said, "This is strictly a driving violation and not something more serious."

Recuperating
Singer Meat Loaf (real name Marvin Lee Aday), 55, canceled the first three dates of his U.S. tour after undergoing emergency intestinal surgery on June 10 in L.A. The rocker, who is expected to make a full recovery, will begin touring in several weeks.

Deaths

Pioneering broadcast journalist David Brinkley, 82, died of complications from a fall on June 11 in Houston. Known for his dry wit, he rose to prominence in the 1950s as part of NBC's Huntley-Brinkley anchor team. Brinkley later moved to ABC, where he hosted the Sunday talk show This Week with David Brinkley until 1997....

Actor Hume Cronyn, 91, died of prostate cancer at his Fairfield, Conn., home on June 16. Cronyn starred in dozens of Broadway plays (winning a Tony Award for 1964's Hamlet) and more than 30 films (he was nominated for an Oscar for 1944's The Seventh Cross). He was best known for his collaborations with his wife of 52 years, actress Jessica Tandy, who died in 1994. Cronyn married children's writer Susan Cooper, 68, in 1996....

Actor William Marshall, 78, who starred in more than 30 films, including the 1972 camp classic Blacula, died of Alzheimer's complications on June 11 in L.A.
