Bound for Glory
Since the Renaissance, the corset has been an essential prop for femmes fatales. And why not? A trim waist and cleavage boost can give any seductress a competitive edge. Now modern sirens like Victoria Beckham and Sarah Jessica Parker are reviving the corset, and they're not shy about showing their wares. The look, says stylist Stephanie Wolf, is "rock and roll and sexy." Though it's not a must, being narrow at the waist à la Beyoncé gives the look extra oomph, says her mom-stylist, Tina Knowles. (A star-caliber swagger helps too.)

what was she thinking?

Kate Hudson is usually right on the mark when it conies to red-carpet style. But even she couldn't get away with wearing what looked like a pink-satin bathrobe to the Hollywood premiere of Alex & Emma. Note to Kate: Taking fashion cues from lounge-wear lizards like Hugh Hefner is never a good idea....

Winner's Circle

On the other hand: Hudson's updo and earrings were classy.

Behind the Seams

SCENT OF A WOMAN: Julia Roberts may be the star who seems to have everything, but until recently she had never inspired a mainstream fragrance. After she revealed her love for the heady Palomino candle by Fresh, though, the company concocted a similar scent based on Bolivian pears and lychee flowers. Dubbed Index Tangerine Lychee Eau de Parfum, it was sent to Roberts in a custom-designed package. It'll hit upscale stores (and be peddled through www.fresh.com) this summer at $60 for 3.5 oz. (One sniff and you feel like 20 million bucks?)...

KIDDIE STUFF: As any shoe lover knows, the sun rises and sets on Manolo Blahnik. His latest? The $690 Kiddie, a high-heeled take on the high-top sneaker. Must-haves for MTV queens including J.Lo, Eve and Alicia Keys, the canvas boots are dancing off the shelves. And Blahnik's getting a kick out of it: "I love all those divas, and I say thank you to them." Awww....

ANGEL THINGS: As chic as they are tough, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore and Co. flash baubles from Me & Ro in the Charlie's Angels sequel Full Throttle. But Drew Barrymore couldn't let go: After the second Angels wrapped, she bought a trove of Me & Ro. Guess you can take it with you.
Cameron Diaz: Angelic in Me & Ro's $1,100 silver sequin wrap (below).

Fair Ladies
Mariah Carey and Carmen Electra prove that inside every scantily clad, mane-tossing exhibitionist, there's a proper lady waiting to get out. With sleek dos, softer makeup and even pearls, both seem to be channeling Eliza Doolittle—post-Pygmalion, of course.

Double Time
Perfect for travel, this bold, double-dial watch with wraparound band keeps celebs, including Christina Applegate and Tiffani Thiessen, on course in any time zone. Also available in hot pink and bright orange, it's hip enough to wear on the town too: Call it a wrap star.
Wraparound watch, $60; Sha Accessories at Intuition, 877-310-8442.

Skull & Bones Society
Celebs are taking a punk-pirate trip—flashing skulls on tees (Will Smith, Kirsty Hume), sweats (Jade Jagger) and even booties (Lucy Liu). This time around, the bones are more about style than subversion. "It's part of the return to the '80s," says celeb stylist George Blodwell. "It's a bit wild and naughty." (Calling Sid Vicious.)
